In-Depth Patient Evaluations
Our Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine professionals meet with patients to evaluate their pain management needs, including opiate and non-opiate. Our goal with this service is to understand precisely where and how patients are hurting—and address any factors limiting their path to recovery.
Long-Term Conditions
Our experts help identify the pain management needs of patients with long-term medical conditions, such as arthritis or cancer.
Surgical Recovery
We assess the pain management needs of paints recovering from surgeries and serious medical procedures.
Physical Therapy
Our experts quickly identify and address any pain preventing patients from undertaking physical therapy.
Pain & Opiate Management
RMA visits patients every week (or biweekly if needed) to oversee and help adjust their medication. This may take the form of slowly reducing pain medications to align them for a successful discharge—or even increasing them to help support a patient’s evolving care needs.

Full Management
RMA takes care of all pain and opiate management responsibilities, driving facility efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Coordinated Care
We coordinate with therapy and nursing staff to ensure each patient’s evolving pain management needs are met.
Reduction in Opiates
On average, we deliver a 70% reduction in patient opiates from when we start seeing them to when they are discharged.

Patient Care Plans
After an initial assessment and ongoing pain management care, RMA helps patients create a step-by-step care plan at the time of discharge. We may refer them to a pain clinic or back to their primary for follow-up care. However, a majority of the time, this plan will successfully get patients off their pain medication entirely.
A Framework for Recovery
We create a solid framework of planning around each patient’s long-term pain management needs, empowering them to succeed at home.
Patient Independence
Our patient care plans can help reduce reliance on strong opiates, allowing patients to reliably control and manage their pain independently at home.
Reduced Readmissions
Our in-depth patient care plans support effective pain management and recovery at home while preventing readmissions
Frequently Asked Questions
Does your group take over and prescribe pain medication?
Yes. We will take over, prescribe and refill them. Of course, the primary care team can make changes and adjust medications as they feel necessary.
Can you help provide PT and rehabilitation services for the patients?
Patients will often already be working with the therapy team. If not we are able to refer to therapy. We will work with the team to help address any issues to help their progress.
Do you work with the family and primary care providers to coordinate care for the patient?
Yes. We work closely with the primary care to coordinate care and any changes with the patients. We will often speak with family members about the ongoing care or address any concerns that may arise.
Do you provide non-opioid options to help treat pain?
Yes. We like to make sure non-opioid options are available and utilized first to help control their pain. We also provide services such as joint or trigger point injections to help address issues that may be slowing the therapy success.
Do you provide services after being discharged from a facility?
We are able to but the majority of the time we will assist with coordination of care for the patient to follow up with their primary care provider outside of the facility or with a pain provider near them if necessary.
